Congratulations to Holly, for her almost 10 years with Eldorado Fire Rescue as an active responder in our district! She was integral in the training of our newly-minted EMTs and in the Med40 program.
Congrats to Team Eldorado for their very successful pack-test results! Nort, Othman, Nate, Pete, Dave and Jose will be getting their red cards from SFCFD. We are still offering Wildfire Home assessments.

What a glorious mild day to be tested out on structural engines! Congrats to Eric and Dave and thanks to Wendy for the challenging scenarios you threw their way.
We caught up with Lieutenant John, the 6th Eldorado Fire Rescue officer for 2026. He manages the EMS Division. He received his badge and pledged the SFCFD oath at last night's business meeting.
We are starting wildland fire trainings, which means Spring is just around the corner. Our own Nort was leading a table-top exercise last Saturday. We are offering free wildfire home assessments.
With apparatus movements at SFCFD, we are excited to share that the Eastern Region has a new ladder truck. Eldorado Tower 1, known to many long-time residents, has been retired to the Socorro Training Facility.
Congratulations to the Eldorado Officers for 2026! They had their badge ceremony on Saturday. From l-r: Assistant Chief Gordon, Captain Daniel, Chief Liz, Captain Peter, Lieutenant Dominic and house officer Eric.
